Goodbye Hannah Montana

Oh Miley .

I hate to admit it - but I can't help but love Miley Cyrus. I know she sticks her tongue out too much and she does try abit too hard with her outfits (leather trousers and a giant pink jacket on Alan Carr?) BUT I can't help watching her music videos. I mean a giant bear and then naked on a swinging chain and ball? You can't make this stuff up, she is a different girl since her days in Hannah Montana, chopping off her hair and her body is literally looking HAWT. 

Keep doing what your doing girl - maybe just keep your tongue in your mouth a bit more!

Book worm .

I would love to tell you that I read in my spare time.. and thats not a lie - but mostly reading magazines, twitter and instagram feeds (which I don't think counts).

During my recent holiday to Egypt I actually ENJOYED reading (shocking I know) - my favourite 'Revenge wears Prada', the sequel of 'Devil wears Prada' was literally one of the best books I've ever read. After watching the original film more times than I can remember, this was not the story I expected, I was genuinley upset when I finished the last page it was such a good read, I recommend this to anyone who loves the devil wears prada!

I hope to keep up my reading once I get on track with my uni work and life!

Goodbye summer .

Am I the only person excited for winter?

Don't get me wrong I have enjoyed my last summer of freedom before joining the real world of working HOWEVER I have just been accepted onto a Msc in Marketing therefore I'm not facing the real world - just yet.
However this time its different, I don't think its as acceptable to go wild in freshers week as a masters student - plus I don't get a loan so my wild shopping sprees and eating out will have to be kept to a minimum.

Winter wishlist .

Just a few things I've noticed - this list will double.. maybe even triple in the next couple of weeks!

Fam time .

I was lucky enough for my mum to still take me on a family holiday at the age of 21! I've just returned from 11 nights in Sharm el Sheikh. It was literally heaven! Your treated like royalty and yoga on the beach, thai massages and pedicures... and the 41 degree heat. It was incredible!!!

I have to say it didn't really hit me until I was sat in the Graduation ceremony that I was officially a graduate and that all my hard work had finally paid off.

I do wish someone would redesign the cap and gowns though.

Bombshell .

Probably the most perfect hair on earth.
Mollie King from the Saturdays gives me mahoosive hair envy!

I recently had microbead extensions and after months of having long rapunzel hair and made the sensible decision to revert back to the natural look! It's not in the same condition but I'm using every product under the sun and risking a few bad hair weeks to try and save it! 

I also wouldn't mind Mollies little dog,figure and her wardrobe.. and maybe her bank balance.

Fresh start : Fresh face

As I've not been able to do anything for a week my face has been taking a break from make-up and I've decided I want to change my make-up and skincare regime!

I find it hard to decide on a brand as I've always brought my make-up on a budget because of being a student and not really had an importance on the quality.

As I've not been working I am again, going to have to budget slightly but I'm wanting to slowly build up a good range of products.

First thing, the bags under my eyes.. 

I purchased the 'all about eyes' by clinique. It's arriving Monday so I'm hoping it will do the job well!

Other things on my wish list is the MAC Strobe Cream

An old favourite of mine which I haven't brought for a while as I'm so poor!

High beam from benefit! I will look at other brands first to check there is nothing better on the market!

I'm also going to shop around for a new concealer, powder and blusher!

Will blog when I've tried and tested!

On the mend .

My blog a day didn't go as to plan, I unfortunatley picked up an infection on my throat, however after a LARGE dose of pain killers and antibiotics I am FINALLY on the mend!

My first day of energy consisted of looking for a graduation outfit and internships! I'd already decided I deffinatley wanted a dress that didn't look too formal, I wanted to just accessorise a more casual dress.
I've been searching on Asos for week and decided on a slightly risky short skater dress, I've wanted a cream or white as the gown is navy and yellow and I didn't want to clash!
However the fit just doesn't look right with my body shape!

I then found today this AH-MAZING lime dress. Sweet talked my mum into ordering it for me, as well as a belt as expensive as the dress, I thought I was pushing it for shoes! I ordered it in black too, just incase!
I purchased the next day delivery for a year (best thing I've ever bought!) so fingers crossed when it arrives Monday, I think it may be the one!
