Instagram stalks .

I absolutley love Instagram, being a self proclaimed instawhore myself I do feel its giving me unrealistic hopes of what my life will be like waking up on a sea view balcony with a fresh fruit smoothie in hand - but I like to dream. The best thing about Instagram is being able to stalk (in a non creepy way) except from those people that spoil the fun with private profiles!

I'll share with you a few of my top Instagram profiles:

@stephclairesmith

Shes not only an absolute Aussie babe but her relationship with her boyfriend is literally the cutest thing in the world. I've been following her for a couple years now and she really doing so well with her career, travelling the world and some amazing locations! She also has the best healthy meals that always look lush! If only we had the health cafes like they have in Australia and L.A in the UK!

@lizaowen

This girl literally has an amazing style and she is an absolute beauty too! She also lives such a brill life im so jealous!

And also her good friend @imsophieking who also has a wardrobe I just wanna steal!

These are my main faves atm but theres so many more!

Basic bitch .

So since returning to life as a student (minus the loan) I have had to make some soul destroying sacrifices.
First of all my hair, anyone who knows me knows how much I love my blonde hair. I once made a spontaneous(/crazy) decision to dye it light brown. worst 72 hours of my life. Don't get me wrong I love brunette hair colours however they just dont suit me. It's not been NINE MONTHS since I've dyed my hair, I cant quite believe it myself. Quite shocked my hair still hasnt mangaged a growth spurt yet though I expected to be  rapunzel by at least the end of the 5th month, however 9 months going strong I know I have probably saved my hair a lot of damage but some days I do just wanna run into a hairdressers and have my roots done - I'm kind of pulling off the ombre look unintentionally, hope this trend doesnt fade anytime soon!

Another sacrifice I've had to make is with make-up, now I've already had to deal with roots for 9 months so my mum couldnt expect me to give up EVERYTHING. However I now have to manage with the 'basics', luckily natural collection is affordable and wearable.

I've always used the natural collection Lashlength mascara, even when I wasn't poor. It literally is the best thing from the collection and because its only £1.99 having to buy a new one even monthly would not break the bank. The whole range is under £1.99 and last weekend my dad gave me £20 for 'food' I invested it in boots, I had double points vouchers and £4.00 worth of points if I spend over a certain amount so really this was saving money.
The lipsticks are also SO good, I got 'Sorbet' this time, quite a natural colour but my ultimate fave is 'Pink Mallow' slightly makes me look like Barbie but I love it!
First time trying the powder and tinted moisteriser. I dunno if you can call something as thick as this moisteriser? It was 100% foundation but for under £2.00 I am not complaining when I dont wanna waste the good stuff if I'm going nowhere special!
The concealer is no Mac but it does the job well enough for now.

There are some things I've been sparingly using that I just can't live without:

Mac strobe cream is literally incredible, I've had this since August so I'm pretty chuffed with myself as I use it pretty much everyday. You can either put it on after you moisterise before your foundation or I mix mine with my foundation which makes your make-up stay on your face SO much longer, also makes your foundation go further hence why I still also have this Mac foundation from August! I purchased both of these in the airport on my way to Egypt, I swear the shop assistant had it in for me, I told her I go quite dark in the sun but there must of been bad lighting or she was just colour blind as she gave me completley the wrong coloured everything. Fortunatley I can get away with this if I'm wearing fake tan and mix it well with the strobe cream but I usually save it for nights out (which are rare) as I usually smother myself in fake tan (FYI Primark fake tan is the best I've ever tried).

Another one of my holiday purchases which was so worth the money was a set of four highlighters I purchased on the plane, I've been meaning to get the benefit high beam again as I loved it, however I paid around £16 for four of these little beauties. They arent as big as the benefit ones but theyve lasted me so long and literally are the same thing! The two in the picture I use on my cheeks and the other two (misplaced) bottles are for the lips!

I literally cannot wait to finish my course and be in full time employment and not feel guilty about buying chicken breasts and coffees!

I want it all .

The Wildfox Swim 2014 collection makes me so excited for summer but so depressed I do not own any of this swimwear and accessories!

Also saw these beauts on the website. Who wants to buy me the whole collection?

I really AM a mermaid.

Suitcase kid .

So I move... ALOT.  3 different houses at Uni, Ayia Napa two seasons, London for an internship, my mums boyfriends, home.. and now Pontypridd! However I am being robbed blind monthly from my rent living alone so luckily my landlord has agreed I can finish my contract early and move back to the house I lived in last year with some of the girls and guys from Uni. Will be so much better and the summer is looking brill.

I am slightly sad to leave here as its SO nice, but out of my price range and lonely! Everywhere I go I make sure its home, sweet home!

Summers coming!

Detox is officially back on. After a weekend of wine, vodka, chips, bread, chocolate, sweets etc etc
Naughty Abbie

xx

Curls . Free shoes . Chips & Gravy.

Without realising I've been detoxing since November? Don't quite know how I managed the whole of Christmas and New Year without drink but my thinking was the less alcohol, the more chocolate.

I thought it was about time I went out for a 'few drinks' - we all know where this ends, barefoot with chips and gravy in chippy lane at 3am. My 'only buying one drink out' was a bottle of cheap vodka, but at least I kept to my word. Decided to go wild and not wear my extensions out, for anyone that knows me we all know this was a big deal, espeically as I've gone cold turkey on having highlights in the hope I'll be rapunzel by summer giving me an unintended ombre/dip dye look. Took about 17 outfit choices over to my friends only to end up in my 'safe' option, a dress I bought for £25.00 from Republic. I love the cut and is really flattering. The coral shoes im wearing one of the girls gave to me as she doesn't like them anymore, I lost the feeling in my feet at around 11pm but WINNING. Free shoes!

If you can't tell I love fake tan, and my friends dont.
