Birthday wish list .

My birthday is October 15th, I always struggle with asking for things from people, not because I feel its rude but because I've usually purchased it for myself. I am reallyyyy impatient so if I see something 2 months before I struggle to wait or want it early.

This year I've already been treated to an early birthday present from my boyfriend… he's taking me to Budapest for 3 days on my birthday. So he is off the hook for presents (unless you're reading this and you're feeling generous). After recently going to Prague at the start of Summer I really want to take short breaks to lots of different places and theres so many things to do here, both of us being top planners I'm sure we will have an itinerary at the ready.

The next thing on my list is a MAC makeover, I know you get the money back in products so its basically free but I will probably spend £100 in other products too. I'm undecided if I want a Bobbi Brown one but I'll let the gift giver decide this. But I'd like to see how different I can look with a good makeover.

The next thing I've got my eye on is this floppy hat. It's on ASOS called 'Christys' Kimberley Floppy Brim Hat'. Not sure who Christy is but I like her hat. This is quite pricey for a hat that may get squished in my wardrobe at £69.00 but the neutral colours mean it will go with EVERYTHING in my wardrobe.

Sunglasses are next on my list - I understand my birthday is in October but as I've got a holiday booked in December and would like to invest in some good sunnies it seems like a great time to receive these Michael Kor beauties. These are called 'Polynesia Oversized sunglasses' and are £182.00.

My next must-have is a pair of over the knee boots, these are so hard to find. There also is a risk of looking like a hooker in these boots so I've took my time scouring the internet to ensure these don't give off this vibe. For £44.99 these are an absolute bargain - some would say a perfect present from a sibling (hint hint).

I've asked my Dad for ski lessons, I've always wanted to ski but never could fathom the idea of going to somewhere cold and not getting a tan as a 'holiday'. However now I'm a working gal I can afford more than one trip a year and would love to try something different. I also had a look at ski gear, these jackets come in at £500-£700. Don't think my Dad will push to that.

Next on my wish list is a spa day, I absolutely love getting a massage on sitting on my desk 8.30-5 five days a week is causing havoc on my body and I feel I need one more than ever! I'm hoping to do a spa day with my girl friends the week before my birthday, currently searching all last minute deals, groupon etc so hopefully this will go ahead!

Following from that I'll need a bikini - and of course for holiday. Victorias Secret have a swimwear sale at the minute so all these bikinis are around £25.00! I can't decide which one so again gift giver can decide (or buy all three).

I'd love to also put Candice Swanepoel's bod of what I want for my birthday - but that would just be greedy I've asked for enough.

How do you like your eggs in the morning?

Scrambled egg, poached egg, chocolate egg - you name it I've tried it for breakfast.

I am the queen of breakfasts, it is after afterall the most important meal of the day - and because I get up at 6.15am most days I sometimes even have two!

This weekend I decided to try something a little different, I always like to try something different at weekends as I get very bored with the same thing before work each day So I experimented with a 'guilt-free' treat breakfast.

I have a previous post about my purchase of Madeline Shaw's 'Get the glow' cookbook and I've been meaning to try more recipes from the book. Last saturday I tried out some pancakes from the book. I had to improvise with a few ingredients - I didn't have any ground almonds so I used chopped, this seemed to significantly alter the appearance of the pancakes. When I say alter they ended up looking like scrambled eggs with nuts BUT they were still tasty none-the-less and I'll be deffinately having these again as a weekend treat!

Another breakfast I've recently tried out is protein oats, now as amazing as these sound they do come with a slight taste issue.. its bearable but this week while I've been craving something sweet I added in a shot of the choc shot from sweet freedom. At 14 cals a teaspoon I don't feel too guilty and it significantly improves breakfast time!

I have eggs most morning and with the endless possibilities of having them I never get bored, here are a few ways I've had eggs in the past couple of weeks…
